June 24th 2018 What You Practice in Private

Joe's and Joette's this is a follow-up post to a post I did a while back. The post that inspired this post is the one I did on the Success Iceberg. If you haven't read that post then pay close attention to this post.

Just so you know that is not the whole title (it would have been too long). The full title for today's post is  "It's What You Practice in Private That You Will be Rewarded for in Public.” This quote was said by Tony Robbins and its pretty powerful. It's pretty straightforward and it means exactly what it says. For those of you who don't understand it fully it basically means; The skills that you practice in private will reward you in the future. It's a quote about delayed satisfaction (which we know I love). So now that you know the whole topic and it's definition, let's apply it to real world scenarios.

The first way I want to apply this quote/topic to is health and wellness. Have you ever seen a fit or muscular person? Do you know how they achieved that level of fitness? They put in the work in their down time AKA in private. They could have dieted worked out, done extensive cardio or a combination of the three. The point is they did the work when no one was watching. You can't expect to have the same results if you're not working as much behind the scenes. See simplistic yet powerful.

Like always I know what your thinking. You want to know how this applies to me and my business. Behind the scenes I am constantly looking for ways to improve my content. I'm always reading books or listening to audios. I make it my job to increase my knowledge. I ask people for topics to talk about. Sure I'm not making that much from my content at the moment but that's the beauty of delayed gratification. I rather get rewarded in the future rather than now.

Joe's and Joette's, that's basically it for this post. If you enjoyed this post thanks, if not oh well. Either way feel free to leave me a comment down below.
